MOVIE / BOOK RATING SYSTEM
1. STRONG / WEAK IN NO WAY: this is a rating for an outstanding film. Perfect in every way for its genre. Not easily given.
2. STRONG / WEAK IN A WAY: this is a good film or book but something was lacking. It just didn't quite get it done but still can be highly recommended.
3. WEAK / STRONG IN A WAY: this is still an okay piece but usually not worth top dollar. Unfortunately, a LOT of films and books fall into this category.
4. WEAK / STRONG IN NO WAY: this is crap. A complete waste of time.
DISNEY'S CHARACTERS
We love to go to Disneyland and when we can, we get a pic with a character. We're not fanatical about it and we won't stand in a line longer than 2 minutes and we're not buying an autograph book but it's fun to see Colin with them all. Here's the last trip.

I breifly knew your husband at Firewheel... in fact, i still have one of his books... i need to mail it to you guys...

For background, she was an english teacher until this year, and is now in the midst of a move to Europe for mission purposes.
Such an open-ended question, not sure what else might be helpful. I know that the box-office numbers tell me the film was a lot of hype with very little substance, seeing as it tailed off dramatically after the first week.
I have not heard any positive or redeeming qualities about the book/movie. In fact, I've hear just the opposite. The first movie is an attempt to hook you in and then by the third book/movie it is all about good vs. evil with the evil triumphantly winning. Written by an aethist (I think) and it is his comeback for the Chronicles of Naria only with a darker side.
You should email Debbie Ragsdale, I know she saw it, out of her boyfriend's curiosity.
