I don't expect this to happen again for awhile BUT or BUTT....we had a perfect potty day yesterday. We did the doo and pooed in the potty for the first time. Some of you have learned what a big deal this is and some of you have yet to learn but trust me, the first time your kid poops in a toilet and it doesn't require you to "do something with the doo doo" you have great cause for rejoice and celebration. It was a beautiful moment and I now share it with you. Oh yeah, pooped in the potty...pooped in the potty... pooped in the potty. La-tee-frickin-da!!!

Yeah for POOP! I think I am beginning to understand how wonderful the day will be when D poops in the toliet for the first time. However it's wonderful to change 10 or more diapers a day at least that's what I tell myself! hee hee, I love the look on Colin's face too, maybe slightly confused as to why mommy might be taking a picture of poop!
The look on Colin's face speaks to an emotional state that is a delicate balance of 30% each confused/frightened/amused and 10% "I'm going to be talking about my crazy mom to a therapist someday, huh?"
Then one day, he'll be changing an infinite number of poopy diapers and it'll click. "THAT'S why she was so excited!"
